1 Day course on filing Tax Returns for 2010 and Preliminary Tax for 2011

Summary of Training Content

Our one day DIY Tax Training course provides attendees with much needed clarity and insight into the details required in order to complete their tax return Form 11 (Self-Assessment) or Form 12 (Employees, Pensions and Non-Proprietary Directors). It will provide information on possible tax savings and information on different pitfalls to watch for. As part of the course we will provide examples and general details of information that must be returned to Revenue.

Forms Covered

  • Form 11 – Self Assessed Individuals
  • This includes (but not limited to) self-employed individuals (tradesmen & professionals), owner/managers (shop keepers, sole traders) Proprietary Directors (Directors who own a share of the business), Landlords, recipients of maintenance payments, etc.

Form 12 – Employees, Pensioners, & Non-Proprietary Directors

This form includes individuals who are employed and pay tax via the PAYE Scheme, but have additional income, or are required by Revenue to file a tax return. Examples of relevant individuals include a Company Director (who does NOT have shares in the business), employees who have income from outside their employment (rental income, maintenance payments, etc).
